We are fully aware that our business has an impact on the environment, principally through the use of energy, water and paper, the use of print and production technologies, the recycling of waste and the increased traffic-volume caused by the events taking place at the Messe Wien.

Our company is committed to complying with all applicable environmental legislation and other requirements to which we subscribe. We strive to the continually improve our environmental management System and enhance environmental performance.

We commit to the protection of the environment by:

  • responsible, efficient and sustainable use of natural resources such as paper and water
  • use of sustainable and recyclable resources and materials with a minimum of waste
  • applying technologies, materials and processes that have minimal impact on the environment
  • minimizing contribution to climate change

  • collaborating with suppliers and contractors that follow the same objectives.
  • undertaking initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility

With the Austrian Ecolabel, the Green Meeting initiative and the Healthy Venue Award , Reed Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center sets the necessary measures and Targets to assume its environmental, economic and social responsibility.
